Background

During the last few years we have sponsored John Pridmore, co-author of his autobiography “From Gangland to Promised Land” which has sold over 50,000 copies since publication. John is an ex-gangster who used to be one of the notorious faces in the east end of London. 

His powerful story, endorsed by the Eastenders actress Michelle Collins as well as Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O’Connor, recounts his fall from broken home into the dark abyss of the criminal world to his rise when he became aware of the love and mercy of God.  John is now a popular speaker in prisons, schools and parishes were his testimony never fails to move even the most hardened heart.
